The Cognigen Business actually earns you money on two different fronts:

Residual Sales Commissions
- Customers are gathered through the web site provided for you by Cognigen. The web address of your sponsor is http://ld.net/?discal. Your web site will be the same, with the exception of the "discal", which you will substitute with the ID you select for your own agency. Customers entered into the system via your web page will result in a commission to you! Plus, your commissions will INCREASE as your sales increase. MLM Bonuses
- The act of sponsoring takes place when another individual signs up as a new representative of Cognigen via your website: http://cognigen.net/bizop/join.cgi?discal Your web site will be the same, with the exception of the "discal", which you will substitute with the ID you select for your own agency. These idividuals will be called your subagents.

There are four different ways to earn money:

1. Qualified Rep Bonus (QRB): $50 paid every time a personally sponsored representative becomes a Qualified Representative (QR). Another QR bonus of $10 is paid to you for all representatives who reach the QR position on Level 2 through 6.

2. Promotion Bonus (PB): Up to $500 paid incrementally to the sponsor and his or her upline for every person that promotes within the sponsor's organization. This bonus is paid to unlimited levels.

3. Residuals: 6% - 12% residual commissions are paid to all representatives on their own sales as long as they maintain at least 4 active "regular" (i.e. Long Distance) accounts, and up to 6% override residuals are paid to you on the sales of your "downline" through 6 levels (1% for each of the six levels). Residual commissions can increase up to 12% depending on your personal monthly sales volume.

4. Generational Override (GO): An override commission of up to 1% paid on the sales of your sub-agents below your six level organization. This commission is paid to unlimited levels.
